MY FIRST TIME

OK, here goes... My first attempt at a blog at the end of a 17hr day.

I managed to administer breakfast, change dirty nappies and find some nice clothes for Alfie ( It was school photos) - then the school run and a walk to town to buy the obligitory baby wipes and dummies. I also had to pick Alfie up a sausage roll as a bribe for wearing the nice clothes for the school photos. I'd love to pretend he never ate shit like that but i'd be lying.Then after lunch it's time to drop off Tom at nursery, pretending to feel really happy about how lovely his nursery is, whilst fighting the huge guilt feelings about the fact that I am leaving him there just so I can do "something for me".

I then give Alfie the choice between watching "Cbeebies" or "Playhouse Disney" whilst I do the hoovering in a vain attempt to be a "good housewife". I'd like to pretend he never watches any shit like that, but I'd be lying. Alfie then slams doors very loudly on me saying " urgh aren't you finished yet? it's very noisy". The poor child is not at all used to the sound of a domestic vacuum cleaner.

I then go to do my "something for me" which also pays quite well. Teaching dance to over privileged kids. Which suprisingly enough tonight was quite enjoyable. If only I didn't have to look at my flabby post natal body in a mirror whilst I do it.
My day ends with a chinese take out, a bottle of cheap sauv blanc and this blog. Night Night xxx
